Vestibular Therapy

Vestibular Rehab Therapy (VRT) is a specialized physical therapy service provided for people with vestibular dysfunction.  The main goal of the therapy is to treat balance, dizziness, or vertiginous disorders by re-training the brain.  The patient is initially put through an exam to which a customized home exercise program is issued for recovery of dizziness and improvement of balance.

The initial examination analyzes the three systems for balance, which includes vision, vestibular, and proprioception.
