Jaimy Wahab, PT, DPT, NCS earned a masters degree in physical therapy in 2002. During her first year of practice, she returned to Regis University to complete a doctorate degree in physical therapy.  She then began practicing PT at a Neuro based clinic in Fort Collins, CO however, she soon came back to Denver and started practicing at South Valley Physical Therapy, focusing on the treatment of people with Vestibular dysfunction, Parkinson's disease, MS, stroke and traumatic brain injury.

In 2005, she was hired on as affiliate faculty at Regis University in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. Dr. Wahab has lectured in the areas of Parkinson's disease and vestibular therapy, while also teaching the management skills of the neurologic thread of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.

In 2007, Dr. Wahab became certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Neurologic Clinical Specialist. Certifying her as an expert in the treatment of physical therapy  in the areas of neurologic disorders such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, vestibular disorders and traumatic brain injuries. She has worked in all areas of neurologic clinical practice from gait training with the use of Functional Electrical Stimulation, to the use of Rhythmic Auditory Stimulus for people with Parkinson's disease, and vestibular training for the treatment of dizziness that may be associated with a concussion, traumatic brain injury, or inner ear disorder.  

In 2015, Dr. Wahab started her own practice with a mission to treat and educate people with neurologic and balance disorders. 

In 2019, She became certified in Functional Dry Needling.  Using this tool as a strategy for treating muscle tone related to neurologic disorders.  

In 2021, she became an affiliate of Re+Active Education and online platform providing continuing education to practicing Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists.  The platform focuses on Neurologic based education including courses on Functional Neurologic Disorders, Movement disorders such as Dystonia and Parkinson's disease, as well as post concussion and vestibular disorders. She has enjoyed teaching advanced courses  as an affiliate for this online platform in the areas of Autonomic disorders, Parkinson's disease, Vestibular disorders and Balance disorders.
